A Samurai Dinner at Omakase, Ayala Triangle Gardens Makati

In the mood for something new, we soon found ourselves walking along the gardens of Ayala Triangle. This place at night is mesmerizing. With the huge green expanse of manicured grass and shady trees, this is the perfect place to walk your dog and just chill.

We were soon at Omakase's doorstep, our food haunt for the night.

With the cute statuettes and large bay windows, you can't help but feel excited for what's in store for dinner tonight.

Black & White at Romulo Cafe, Jupiter Street Makati

For our weekly Saturday dinner out, it was decided that we were going to eat at Romulo's Cafe. Honestly, this was our first time to hear of this place. We soon learned that this was already their 2nd branch, the first was located in Quezon City.

Because of wrong directions given, we got lost. After asking the guards at one of the restaurants at Jupiter Street, we soon found ourselves in front of a black & white house-like setting with a brightly lit patio and large windows with glass doors.  Hmmm... is this going to be like a homemade sort of food trip? Wasn't actually in a mood for that. So with fingers crossed, we walked thru the threshold...

Simple Supper at Jay-J's Inasal, Timog Quezon City

Before going for a visit to see our friend's baby (Hi Radley!), we decided to have dinner at one of our favorite food stops in QC.

Jay-J's Inasal, Timog QC

Compared to the brightly lit Burger King just a few meters away, Jay-J's simple exterior of green walls and huge brown doors is plain-looking. You might've driven by without even giving it a second glance. But this is one of FS' favorites for a reason. Read on to know why.

More than anything, the decor was evoking a jungle vibe, somewhat woodsy and dark. They added splashes of color on the walls to liven the place up a bit. Note: The wooden benches are super heavy, lift with both hands if you must.

Coffee Blast at Starbucks, Allegro

When Starbucks announced its annual Planner for stickers promo, we were not really into it. But when we chanced upon this branch in Allegro Makati, we were soon looking for all the excuses we can come up with just to drink their Caramel Frappe! :)

Yup, it was that good!

Entrance
There was nothing really special about this particular Starbucks branch. The exteriors & interiors were pretty much the same. The standard logos, brown & yellow walls and glass doors were all present.

So what made us come back again & again?
