Sometimes having your dessert first is a good idea.
Case in point; we were walking around SM Aura at 7 in the evening and saw this.
Yes, we haven't had dinner yet but I was so excited to try this out that I couldn't wait 'til after.
It was a toss up between the Organic Cotton Candy or the Caramel Popcorn topping. Can you guess which one won??
While they were getting the soft serve in my cup, it gave me time to look around.
Now comes the tricky part; how do they put the Caramel Popcorn?
Answer: They painstakingly place it on the ice cream piece by piece.
Excuse the background noise; they were fixing something in the back part of the kitchen.
Ta-Dah! ;p
And now for the taste test... Food-Stars Verdict? The caramel popcorn was crunchy sweet but totally reminded me of Chef Tony's. As for the ice cream; it was as creamy & milky as it looked but I couldn't taste any difference from those being served at McDonald's. :(
And with a hefty price tag; we won't be coming back any time soon.
