AYOKO NA JOHN sa John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5

We were expecting to have a fun and exciting birthday celebration... but guess what, we didn't.

Let me welcome you to one of our worst dinners ever!
BOOO !!!
Situated in Greenbelt 5, I was expecting a stellar service... or a good service at least. Tsk tsk. Seems like I set my standards too high.

First complaint: When we arrived, it was jam-packed but we weren't worried. We made reservations a week before and we even re-confirmed it the same night. We arrived 10 mins before our reservation (7pm) and guess what... they gave our table away!  Because, and I quote "Nagdagsaan ang mga tao kaya nabigay ko". Seriously? No apology whatsoever.

Attention John & Yoko, your customer service SUCKS!

Birthday Bash at Chili's Greenhills

To celebrate a friend's birthday, we were invited to have dinner at Chili's Greenhills last Saturday (October 1, 2011).

Chili's Greenhills
With it's big chili logo and bright red light, you can't miss it.
Birthday dinner with friends + alcohol = a hell of a good time! :)

Welcome sign
Just in case you forgot where you are, there is a large blackboard that welcomes you to Chili's. Their friendly and attentive staff is right there to greet you and help you to your table. It was 8:30pm on a Saturday night and business was booming!

Dinner Date at Mey Lin, Makati

Tired of our usual Jupiter Street eateries, we decided to go back to our old favorite, Mey Lin.

Mey Lin Bistro, Jupiter St. Makati
With ample parking spaces in the building's basement, you'll have no trouble parking your car. Ride the elevator up to the ground floor, get off, walk to the main entrance,  turn right and voila!

P.S. don't forget to have your ticket validated!

Dinner & Dice at Little Asia, Promenade

To celebrate the Mooncake Festival, we decided to eat out & have our dice game at Little Asia, Promenade.

We made reservations for 8pm expecting the dinner rush. Unfortunately, business seemed kinda slow even during a weekend. There were only a handful of customers eating.

As you enter, you'll see a bar-like structure where they have their wines on display.  The walls were filled with awards & pictures of celebrities who have tried their wares.
