Dinner Stop at Pepper Lunch Express, Glorietta 4 Makati

We found ourselves stuck at Glorietta 4 Food Court on a Friday night.

Didn't want to go far so we looked around Glorietta 4 Food Court and chose this.

Hubby finished ordering just in time; pretty soon the dinner rush began. Business was booming.

Beef Pepper Rice (Php 145)

Served on a sizzling plate and enclosed in a paper shield guard, the sight was enough to whet anyone's appetite. FS Advice? Turn over the beef pieces immediately or it may get overcooked. 

Mix it all together... 

And voila, you're ready to eat. FS Verdict? The thinly sliced beef offered nothing special. The rice had too much pepper. FS Recommendation? Don't forget to load up on the honey sauce.

Chicken And Salmon Pepper Rice (Php 178)

Hubby was sweet enough to choose this dish so I can try out both the chicken and salmon for review ;)

 

FS Verdict? The salmon was okay but the chicken was a bit dry. 

I'm thinking maybe the fast food type of cooking compromised the quality & taste of the dishes. If ever we do try this out again, we're choosing their sit down type dining instead.

As for now, the best Beef Pepper Rice award goes to Sizzling Pepper Steak.
