Sweet Afters at Mio Gelati, Glorietta 3 Park Makati

Fresh from the ongoing sale at Duty Free Philippines, we decided to check out the new food truck stop at Glorietta 3 Park last Friday.

We were looking for dessert (to wash out the bad experience we had for dinner) and saw this cute pink truck parked by the end.

Mio Gelati, Glorietta 3 Park
Pink palang, sold na! Haha. This was too girly to pass up.

Flavors
They categorize their flavors into 3 groups; regular, premium and alcoholic. Scoops price depends on the category they're in.

We were there for the Ferrero (see the 2nd picture) which sadly was sold out. :( Settled for Espresso Chips & Banofee instead. Our total for the night was Php 160 (one regular + one premium).

FS Verdict? The Espresso Chips is definitely for coffee lovers. Each spoonful had that strong coffee flavor and the chips gave it texture. For the Banofee, this was vanilla with bits of banana. Overall, the flavors were worth coming back for. :P

And we did come back the following day. Happily, the Ferrero was available! Yay!

One gripe though, the lady manning the food truck was too talkative that it takes away the yummy experience of eating the gelato. Tsk tsk. Medyo nakaka-turnoff especially when you're in a hurry and she doesn't listen to your orders. Hay...

And when there's a glaring difference between scoop sizes of the same orders,  you can only sigh in exasperation because she again starts with her tirade of medyo senseless explanations.

Buti nalang the gelato makes up for some of it.
