While surfing through online coupon sites featuring restaurants, this one caught our fancy.
Since we’ve been hearing about chicken-wing-concept-restaurants cropping up all around the metro (BWnT, Wingstop, etc), we decided to try this one out.

As you enter, you'll notice the surfboards on the wall, videos of surfing with the waves rolling in the background. It’s like you’re on the beach, soaking up the hot summer sun.
Like in fast-food restaurants, in SUNRISE BUCKETS you go up the counter & place your order. Lots of flavors to choose from that it can get overwhelming but the cashier will gladly help you & will recommend their best-sellers.

Before you sit down, you’ll need to get your own plates, napkins, spoons & forks since it’s self-service.

We availed their Wednesday Wings promo (pictured above) for P499 instead of the usual P655. The 2 1/2 lbs order comes in a take-away bucket. It consists of approximately 12 chicken wings cut in half (wing + drumstick). So in each flavor, you get 3 wing part & 3 drumstick. Even with it's sunny orange coating, the Sunrise Original still retained its crispiness. Kinda sour on the tongue but the dip complimented it perfectly. The Smokin' BBQ tastes just like ordinary chicken with just a hint of barbecue, but liked it nonetheless.

Nothing really special about it, exactly how strawberry ice creams taste like. Loved the twisty straw though.
