A Little Bit of Italy at Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante, Timog QC

After doing errands around QC, we decided to kick back and relax at one of our favorite white pizza haunts. The trouble with this restaurant is that they open at the oddest hours I've ever heard of. 

Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante, Timog

In line with our previous gangster review, Napoli takes us into the world of The Godfather. Yup, we're eating out, hoodlum style! :) Haha.

Even at 6pm, we had the place to ourselves. The whole time we were there (we finished around 7:30pm), only one other family entered the restaurant. Dinner time yet no dinner rush? Hmmm... not a very good sign. 

White Pizza Medium (Php 460) 

We ♥♥♥ cheese pizzas, especially white pizzas, so it's no surprise that we ordered Napoli's version. This crunchy & creamy concoction fits right into our category of yummy & worth-to-come-back-for pizza. Serving is good for 3-4 people. Just don't forget to have it double-sliced. Dig in! :)

Carbonara with Chicken (Php 305)

Of course with pizza comes pasta. This is a take on a classic alfredo with a twist, they placed breaded chicken strips on top (much like Chef d' Angelo). The strips were crunchy and juicy. The pasta doesn't bring anything new to the table. It's basically a fettuccine pasta with bacon, mushrooms, onions and herbs topped with white sauce. Verdict? Yummy chicken, ordinary pasta.

Philly Cheese Steak (Php 165) 

Hubby was in the mood for a sandwich. Steak with cheese rolled in a bun with fries on the side seemed the best idea. This was actually bigger than we expected, we sliced it in half for sharing. We were initially turned off by the big slices of bell peppers sticking out, but surprisingly this was actually good! The bell peppers added the crunch, the creamy cheese was A+ and the steak was juicy. Major gripe? We should've ordered 2 of this instead! :)

 One thing though, don't expect stellar service here. Staff is inattentive and unresponsive, almost like they're used to having no patrons to serve. They also kept on talking amongst themselves the whole time we were there.
