After buying stocks the whole morning, we decided to try out one of our coupon places in Makati. Still in search for the best chicken wings (SB still number one in our books), we wanted to know what Bugsy's Forbeswood had to offer.

As you enter, you'll be welcomed by the sight of the long wooden bar & liquor-filled walls. The TV screens showed different sports channels but with no audio. High stools and high chairs adorned the first floor. Was never a fan of high seating and dangling feet, so we soon found ourselves siting at the only available booth in the place. Major gripe? The couch was in dire need of washing & cleaning. And the tables smelled a bit.

The chocolate brown couches & chairs with the glass tables made a simple, classic yet dark look. Add the greenery and voila, it brightened the scene a bit.

The logo was cute. I know it doesn't fit into the tough gangster vibe that they're trying to go for but where else would you see a big B with a hat?

Of course, we had to taste their Buffalo Tenders, it's chicken without the bone-hassle. Served with bleu cheese dressing on the side, Bugsy's version did not disappoint. The all-familiar tangy flavor was there and the chicken was soft and succulent. Pieces were well-coated. Thumbs up!
Wanting to keep it a bit healthy (haha), we decided to have fish. Quite disappointed with the serving size, much less than I was expecting. The salmon was a bit dry for my liking. The carbonara was nothing special. Verdict? So-so.
From that, we go to this. Huge does not even begin to describe this slab of Angus Rib Eye. Have it medium well and the meat will slide off in every slice. Comes with mashed potatoes on the side and stalks of crunchy green beans. Don't forget to ask for the red wine gravy. Highly recommended!

Was a bit hesitant to try this at first. Never been a fan of dark chocolate or anything too chocolate-y. But this made me a convert. Once you bite into the moist choco cake with the fluffy white whipped cream, it's divine... :) More please!
Needed to walk off some of the delicious food so we decided to explore the upstairs.

One thing though, make sure you get seating on the first floor. Service is way better there than on the second.
