Walking around Greenbelt to shed a few of the calories from the Capriocciosa dinner, we chanced upon this establishment. Been hearing a lot about their bestselling "Alcapone", I didn't pass on the chance to try it out.

Brown and orange seems to be the ongoing theme. The interiors inside looked pretty much like any other coffee shops around the metro.

Alcapone simply put is a donut dunked in white chocolate topped with almonds. J. Co, you had me at white chocolate. :9 FS verdict? Presentation was pretty cool; the glazzier smile was a cute touch. Taste-wise? The donut itself was too flat, both in taste and texture. If not for the white chocolate, this would've been a bust for me.
On a side note; was quite surprised to see that as they taking out the donuts from the oven, the trays, cabinets and handles had lots of brown spots. Upon further inquiries, it turned out that those were left over from previous donuts....but the ones on the tray & in the oven were Alcapones and the chocolate spots were brown 0.o
Calling J. Co management, this definitely needs some looking in to. Cleanliness should be high up the priority list in any eating establishment.
