I'm keeping this short. This was actually a very late breakfast we had while visiting at Makati Medical Center.
Floating Island is the in-house restaurant of Makati Med.
We chose from their All Day Breakfast section. Each came with 2 eggs prepared to your liking served with garlic rice. Here's our choices:
This was mine. This was just okay; nothing special.
Hubby's dish was worse. This tasted really bland.
I remember Monte Carlo being one of our favorites. This was their take on the clubhouse sandwich; a medley of cheese, ham, chicken spread & mayo. FS Verdict? Tasted blah, so far from how we remembered it. Also, this used to come with potato salad.
FS Verdict? We just chalked this late breakfast up to "pampatawid gutom". These Floating Island wares lives up to the adage of sucky hospital food with hefty price tags to boot. If in Makati Med, best if you just eat at other fast food places available.
