Tough Luck at Lucky Tea, Banawe QC

And the milk tea craze rages on.

Now we bring you one of the new places Quezon City has to offer.

Welcome to Lucky Tea

Lucky Tea, Banawe

Like any other tea place, you order at the counter. Menu pretty much the same as other milk tea places so we ordered our usuals. More on those later.

Lucky Tea's interiors reminded me of another tea place. Green & white motiff filled the place. At least you get to sit at the comfy couches while you wait.

Wintermelon Milk Tea with Big Pearls (Php 110)
This has been one of my go-to drinks so I wanted to see how Lucky Tea's version fares. Hmmm.. tastes okay but not my cup of tea (pun intended :P). The pearls were well-cooked & sticky, just the way I like it. Maybe next time I'll have it at 100% sugar.

Strawberry Milk Tea with Big Pearls (Php 110)
This is Hubby's comfort drink. FS Verdict? So-so. Okay but nothing special. Was surprised that it wasn't pink.

Pineapple Orange with Big Pearls (Php 105)
And just to make it a real Tea Night, we ordered one more for the road. :P First time to try a fruit mix, went with familiar flavors. It had a citrus-y kick but other than that, didn't offer anything new.

FS Verdict? After the 3 drinks, the night was a let down. Nothing special to offer. Sorry but we won't be coming back any time soon.

  1. This is personally one of my favorites... you should try their snacks and limited edition Christmas Mint Tea drinks.
