It's Fries & Balls at NYFD Fries, Smart Araneta Center

Whew! Just got home from another exciting night of basketball!

The tickets to this game were quickly sold out. Good thing we bought ours days ahead.

With lots of time to spare, we bought our favorite game time snack, NYFD Fries! :)

NYFD Fries, Smart Araneta Center
We ordered the largest size which came with 3 dips of your choice. The fries was as good as we remembered.  Suggestion? Always ask for the newly cooked ones.

Potato Goodness in a cup
NYFD Fries used less preservatives and the cuts are bigger.  But the thing that sold it for us was that it tasted like real potatoes!  The portion is good for 2-3 people.  The fries lasted 'til the 1st quarter of the second game! :)

Honey Mustard Dip

Add the yummy honey mustard dip and you'll be dipping happily while you watch your favorite teams play. KAMPIHAN NA! :)

For the first game, it was the Alaska Aces vs Rain or Shine
We were rooting for Alaska Aces!

HI!, said the Cow
Final Score
The game ended with Rain or Shine - 91 and Alaska Aces - 85.
Our team lost :(

Honestly, we were too engrossed in the first game that we weren't able to take that much pictures. We promised not to make the same mistake twice.

2nd game of the night: Ginebra Kings vs Talk 'n Text
Our bet for this game? Ginebra Kings!

There were actually lots of empty seats during the first game but the arena was soon filled by the time the 2nd game began. Chants from both Ginebra & TnT were deafening, the crowd was really in to it..  us included! Haha.

1st quarter scores
The 1st quarter went to Ginebra, yay! They were off to a great start.

2nd Quater scores
But by the 2nd quarter, the roles were reversed. Talk N Text was able to catch up, even leading by 4 points at the end of the 1st half. It was beginning to be nerve racking.

3rd quarter tally
By the 3rd quarter, the fans were getting rowdy. With every basket made, cheers and boos echoed throughout the arena. Even the coaches were getting in the action. TNT lead by one point by the start of the 4th quarter.  The score was really tight. People were becoming edgy, it was still anybody's ball game at this point.

Final Score

It all boiled down to the last quarter. Both teams gave their all but in the end Ginebra Kings were able to push it a bit further, winning by 14 points. The Kings performance on the 4th quarter was flawless, making almost all of their baskets. And the cheers were through the roof!

With hoarse throats (from shouting) and red hands (from clapping), we knew we would be back for another PBA adventure... soon :)

Major gripe? Had 2 chances of getting the shirts they slingshot to the crowd. Touched one but bounced off my hands. Tsk tsk. That would've totally made our night complete :)
