Steamed Dinner at Lucky Rainbow Seafood Restaurant, Ongpin Manila, Philippines

Since we were in a dim sum binge for the past few days, my FIL suggested a new place to try out.

Located in one of the side streets in Manila, expect the lack of parking space.

Had our food to go since Hubby was running late for his meeting. It takes a bit of time for your food to come out since they steam it as you order to prolong freshness. I hate waiting but in this case, I didn't mind. Our order took about 20-25 minutes.

Siomai (Php 78)
This is actually 2 orders of siomai. What I like about Lucky Rainbow's siomai is that they retain their shape; they don't get mushed up when you bite into them.

Hakaw (Php 88)
Again 2 orders. Good 'ol traditional hakaw; this tastes pretty okay.

Radish Cake (Php 78)
This is my MIL's favorite. Looked yummy.

Chicken Feet (Php 78)
This, on the other hand, is my favorite. Cooked pretty good although the sauce lacked flavor.

Shrimp Rice Roll (Php 120)
This is Hubby's favorite, we got 2 orders as well. Be ready for the burst of wansoy inside; which we weren't fans of. Bleh.

FS Verdict? All of the dishes were of good quality but based on the price point, I was expecting more. There are other dimsum places that offer the same tasting food at lower the price.
