Food-Stars Goes to Singapore: No Signboard Seafood Restaurant, Vivo City

During our previous Singapore visit, we had the chance to try the original branch of No Signboard. Because of time constraint, the group voted to try the one in Vivo City

Vivo City No Signboard
interiors were a far departure from the original. From the light fixtures (chandeliers) to the dragon on pillars, this branch had a classier feel to it. Add the presence of air conditioners & you know that they didn't skimp on their patron's comfort.

Cheryl arrived just in time to take the helm and do the ordering.
Here's our dishes for the night:
Crispy Cereal Prawns $ 28 (S) $48 (M) and $68(L)
Of course, every No Signboard visit means Cereal Prawns on the table :) Still good; although the prawns needed a bit of tweaking. The star of this dish unfortunately was the cereal.

Stir Fried Cuttlefish with XO Sauce $18(S) $28(M) and $38(L)
This was one of the picks that was a miss for me. A mish-mash of chopped cuttlefish with huge slices of onions, carrots and greens; a colorful dish indeed. Was not able to taste any of the XO sauce.

Ginger & Spring Onion Deer Meat $ 25 (S) and $50 (L)
First time to try deer meat and I got to say, it tastes... interesting.

Sin Chew Bee Hoon $ 15 (S) $20 (M) and $ 30(L)
Instead of rice, we had noodles.

Chili Crab S$ 60 /kg for Sri Lanka Crab (prices are subject to changes)
Deep Fried Bun/ Mantou 50 cents per piece
Mantou dipped in the Chili Crab sauce is yum. Ate a couple of these babies.
