Before I start this review, I'll be honest, I've never been a fan of ramen. We've never had a food run to try out new ramen places because noodles just aren't our thing.
But on this particular Sunday, we were having ramen for dinner... well ramen & tonkatsu.
Welcome to Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.
Can you see the people waiting to be seated? It was a good thing that SIL came early and got us seats. The place was small & the chairs were uncomfortable; signs that they didn't want you to linger (faster turnover means more sales).
Large Ramen & Pork Cutlet & Large Rice Bowl Set (Php 620) with Kara-Miso Soup (Php 20)
Ramen set included 1 Large size Ramen with your choice of soup, 1 Rice Bowl, 1 Tsukemono, 1 Komi-tamago, 1 salad and 1 tea.
Chose the Kara-Miso since they promised it to be spicy; it wasn't. Nice color though.
Now for their Tonkatsu. The breading made it crunchy but the meat itself was dry. Pass.
Definitely something new.
FS Verdict? Again, we weren't fans of ramen & this food selection from Hokkaido Ramen Santouka didn't make us converts.
