Coming from a bad dinner, we decided to stop and buy dessert to cool our heads and to cap the night with something sweet.
Caffe Ti-Amo, Greenbelt |
This was the first time I heard about this place. It was already 9pm and people were lining up and all seats were occupied. Wow! Business was booming. We just had to try this one out.
Signage |
Caffe Ti-Amo gives off a fun and home-y vibe. With bright lights and large windows, the place was certainly inviting.
Gelato |
As you enter, the first thing you'll see are the colorful gelatos. Can't decide on what to order? Not to worry, they offer free taste to help you choose the best flavor that suits your palate. With flavors like Melon, Cookies & Cream, Dulce de Leche, Dark Chocolate, Straciatella and Tiramisu, you'll really have a hard time deciding. :)
It's a pay-as-you-order type of place, much like Caramia and other gelato shops. You can choose from 4 different sizes, small (max of 1 flavor), regular (max of 2 flavors), medium (max of 3 flavors) and large (max of 4 flavors).
We ordered the large cup to share :). The Tiramisu didn't have the usual coffee flavor that lingers in the mouth or the biscuit taste. It came across as a bit plain for me. We also had a scoop of Dulce De Leche. You can really taste the caramel... too sweet actually. And for the last flavor, we had Cookies & Cream. This was a disappointment for me. Tasted more like cookie dough than gelato.
