The first visit was last March and all I can say is they had lots to improve on.
Buffet101 International Cuisine |
- Their rule on food spoilage (3pcs of lamb per person, etc) was really a big turn off. It's a buffet for crying out loud! People will get as much as they want. I believe your policy of charging extra for leftovers & sharing is enough to cover that issue. Why the need for this confrontational demeanor?
- The servers kept talking amongst themselves. And their topic is the customers (Table number this was complaining, etc). That's annoying & totally rude. We eat to relax & enjoy each other's company, not hear your complaints about your patrons! Tsk tsk. Sorely in need of staff training.
- Service is way too slow! Even after repeatedly telling them the table numbers, with only 3 other groups in the restaurant, they still managed to mess the orders up. Hay...
- And the piece-de-resistance of the day, the drinks. It was such a cool concept having people order their drinks on the counter so that it's freshly made on the spot. We were there at 11:30am, by 12:30 our drinks was still nowhere to be seen. The frustrating part? We were the first ones there & yet lots of other people already had empty glasses on their tables. When we asked about our drinks & why other people who came in later already had theirs, one of the staff rudely told us that "walang ice!". Really? And yet you'll see them serving drinks WITH ice! Grabe!!
I don't mind paying a substantial amount of money for a good meal & top-notch service. But in the case of Buffet101, the prices you charge for is way too much for what you have to offer.
FS advice? Don't expect too much, you'll definitely be in for a nasty surprise!
